DAY 16 · TUE How to write a post coaches feel was written specifically for them Educational
Framework post · 1,500–1,800 characters · High save/share rate
The most powerful thing you can make a coach feel when they read your content: "This was written specifically for me." Here's the 4-part system that creates that feeling — consistently.
The difference between content that converts and content that gets scrolled past is one thing: Specificity of understanding. When a coach reads your post and thinks "this person gets my exact situation" — they trust you. And trust is what moves people from follower to client. Here's the 4-part Specificity System that makes coaches feel personally addressed: PART 1: NAME THE MICRO-SITUATION — NOT THE MACRO-PROBLEM Don't write about "struggles with social media." Write about "spending 2 hours writing a caption on Sunday night that gets 4 likes by Monday afternoon." The micro-situation is specific. It activates a memory. It creates recognition. Recognition creates connection. Connection creates trust. PART 2: USE THEIR EXACT LANGUAGE — NOT YOUR EXPERT LANGUAGE Coaches don't say "content pillars" — they say "types of posts." Coaches don't say "conversion funnel" — they say "turning followers into clients." Write in the language of the person reading — not the language of the industry you're serving them in. PART 3: ADDRESS THE EMOTION UNDERNEATH THE PROBLEM Every surface problem has an emotion underneath it. The surface: "I don't get enough engagement." The emotion underneath: "I feel like I'm invisible. Like nobody cares about what I have to say." Speak to the emotion and you speak to the person — not just the problem. PART 4: MAKE THE IMPLICATION PERSONAL End every educational post with one sentence that makes the insight personal: "If you've ever felt this — you're not alone. And there's a specific reason it's happening that most coaches never find out." That sentence creates a direct conversation between your content and one specific person. That's the feeling that converts. — Rafael Saquido

Why does some content make coaches feel like it was written just for them — while other content, just as well-written, gets scrolled past? The answer is specificity of understanding.
At Raf Saquido SMM, every caption we write for coach clients passes through a 4-part specificity check before it's finalized: → Does it name a micro-situation — a specific, recognizable moment — not a generic problem? → Does it use the coach's language — not marketing jargon? → Does it address the emotion underneath the surface problem? → Does the closing line make the insight feel personally directed at one reader? Content that passes all four checks creates a specific feeling in the reader: "This person understands my exact situation." That feeling is the foundation of trust in the coaching industry. And trust is the only thing that reliably moves a coach from passive follower to active client inquiry. This is why we approach every piece of content for coaches as a precision communication — not a broadcast. One person. One specific feeling. One moment of recognition. Every time.

📝 How to write a post that makes coaches feel like you wrote it specifically for them — the 4-part Specificity System.
The most powerful feeling you can create in a coach's mind when they read your content: "This person gets me exactly." Here's the 4-part system that creates that feeling: ✅ 1. Name the MICRO-SITUATION — not the broad problem "Spending Sunday night writing a post that gets 4 likes Monday" beats "struggling with social media." ✅ 2. Use THEIR language — not your expert language "Getting clients from content" beats "conversion funnel optimization." ✅ 3. Address the EMOTION underneath the surface problem Surface: "Low engagement." Emotion underneath: "I feel invisible and irrelevant." Speak to the emotion — and you speak to the person. ✅ 4. Make the closing line feel PERSONALLY directed "If you've felt this — you're not alone. And there's a reason it's happening that most coaches never discover." Content that does all 4 doesn't just get read. It gets saved, shared, and responded to. 💡 Use this as a checklist before your next post goes live.

The most valuable thing content can make someone feel: "This was written specifically for me."
Most coaches write content that's broadly relatable. The coaches who convert followers to clients write content that feels personally addressed — to one specific person, in one specific situation, feeling one specific emotion. The four things that create that feeling: 1. Micro-situation, not macro-problem 2. Their language, not your expert language 3. The emotion underneath, not just the surface struggle 4. A closing line that feels like a direct conversation Specificity is the superpower most coaches are afraid to use — because they think it narrows their reach. It doesn't. It deepens their impact. And depth converts. Breadth doesn't. 🎯

DAY 17 · WED Why 100 engaged followers beat 10,000 passive ones Pain Awareness
Pain awareness + contrarian reframe · 1,500–1,800 characters · High share format
100 genuinely engaged followers will bring you more coaching clients than 10,000 passive ones. Coaches know this intellectually. But they're still building their strategy around the wrong number. Here's why — and what to focus on instead.
We've been conditioned to celebrate follower count. 10K followers feels like something. 500 followers feels like failure. But I've been studying coaching businesses closely enough to know this: The coaches who consistently get clients from social media rarely have the largest audiences. They have the most trusting ones. Here's the math that most coaches miss: A coach with 10,000 followers and a 0.5% conversion rate has 50 people who might respond to an offer. A coach with 500 deeply engaged followers and a 10% trust rate has 50 people who are actively thinking about working with them. Same result. Completely different build strategy. The difference? The 10K account is chasing reach. The 500-account is building trust. And in the coaching industry — a service built entirely on personal trust — the second approach always wins. Here's what building for trust looks like in practice: → Writing content specific enough that only your ideal client feels it deeply — everyone else scrolls past → Responding to every comment as a conversation, not a notification → Being consistent enough that your audience starts to expect your posts — and notices when you don't show up → Measuring DMs and referrals, not just reach metrics → Publishing one post that a deeply right person saves — instead of five posts a broadly wrong person scrolls past The metric to build your strategy around isn't followers. It's trust density. How many of your current followers would feel the loss if you disappeared from their feed tomorrow? That number is the real indicator of your social media health. — Rafael Saquido
💬 Be honest: are you building for reach or for trust right now? What would you change if you focused on the right metric?

The coaching industry has a follower count obsession — and it's costing coaches clients they should already have.
At Raf Saquido SMM, we build content strategies around one metric above all others: trust density. Not follower count. Not reach. Not impressions. Trust density — the percentage of your existing audience that trusts you enough to refer, engage, and eventually purchase. Here's what we've found consistently in studying coaching business social media: A coach with 500 highly trusting followers converts at a dramatically higher rate than a coach with 10,000 passive ones. Because coaching is a high-trust service. Clients don't buy a coaching program after one post. They buy after weeks of feeling understood, respected, and believed in by the person they're about to invest in. The content strategy that builds trust density is different from the content strategy that builds reach. It's more specific. More consistent. More personal. And it produces results that follower counts simply cannot. This is the system we build for every coach client. Not a broadcast strategy. A trust-building architecture.

🔴 Hard truth for coaches who are still focused on growing their follower count: 100 trusting followers will bring you more clients than 10,000 passive ones.
Here's the math most coaches miss: 10,000 followers × 0.5% trust = 50 people who might respond to your offer 500 deep-trust followers × 10% trust = 50 people actively thinking about working with you Same result. Completely different strategy to get there. The coaching industry is built on trust — not on reach. Which means the content strategy that produces clients isn't the one with the most posts or the biggest audience. It's the one with the highest trust density — the percentage of your existing audience that would genuinely miss you if you disappeared from their feed. Building for trust means: → Writing specifically for ONE person, not broadly for everyone → Responding to every comment as a real conversation → Being consistent enough that your audience starts to expect you → Measuring DMs and referrals — not just likes and reach Switch from building for reach to building for trust. Your client pipeline will follow. 💡 Save this — share it with a coach who's discouraged by their follower count.

A coach with 500 deeply trusting followers will outperform a coach with 10,000 passive ones — every single time.
Coaching is a high-trust service. Clients don't buy because they saw your post once. They buy after weeks of feeling understood, respected, and genuinely believed in. That level of trust doesn't come from reach. It comes from the right content, published consistently, to the right people. 100 followers who trust you deeply are more valuable than 10,000 followers who scroll past you every day. I wish more coaches knew this before they spent months chasing numbers instead of building relationships. Focus on trust density. The revenue will follow. 🙏

DAY 18 · THU The DM conversation sequence that converts coaches into clients Strategic Insight
Step-by-step framework · 1,500–1,800 characters · Highest save rate of Week 3
The DM conversation that converts a coach from "interested" to "signed" has a specific structure. Most people wing it. Here are the 5 steps I use to turn a content-generated lead into a real conversation — without being pushy or salesy.
Social media's job is to create enough trust that a coach is willing to start a conversation with you. Your job in the DM is to continue building that trust — and let the right conversation happen naturally. Here's the 5-step DM sequence that works for coaches: STEP 1: OPEN WITH RECOGNITION — NOT A PITCH "Hey [Name] — I saw your comment on my post about [specific topic] and it really resonated with me." This shows you're paying attention. It's personal. It's not a template. Never open with what you do or what you're selling. STEP 2: ASK ONE GENUINE QUESTION ABOUT THEIR SITUATION "What's the biggest challenge you're running into with your social media right now?" One question. Open-ended. Focused on them — not on you. Let them tell you what they need. STEP 3: LISTEN AND REFLECT BEFORE RESPONDING When they answer, mirror back what you heard before giving any advice. "So if I'm understanding correctly, you're posting consistently but not seeing it translate to actual inquiries — is that right?" Feeling heard is rare. Give them that first. STEP 4: OFFER INSIGHT — NOT YOUR SERVICE Share one specific, useful observation about what they've described. No pitch. No "I can help with that." Just genuine expertise applied to their situation. STEP 5: INVITE — DON'T CLOSE "Based on what you've shared, I think there might be a couple of things worth exploring together. Would it be useful to jump on a quick 20-minute call to walk through your current setup?" An invitation is different from a close. An invitation respects their autonomy. And coaches respond to respect. That's the sequence. Start a genuine conversation. Build trust inside the DM. Then invite — never push. — Rafael Saquido
📌 Save this 5-step sequence. Use it the next time a coach engages with your content. Which step do you find hardest?

The DM conversation that converts coaches into clients is not a sales script. It's a trust extension — and it has a specific structure.
At Raf Saquido SMM, we coach our clients on more than content creation. We coach them on what to do when a coach engages with that content. Because the DM conversation that follows a well-crafted post is where the real conversion happens. The sequence that works: 1. Open with recognition — reference the specific interaction, not a generic opener 2. Ask one genuine question about their situation — not about your service 3. Listen and reflect before responding — mirror back what you heard 4. Offer insight — not your service. Demonstrate value first. 5. Invite, don't close — "Would it be useful to explore this together?" is more powerful than any sales close Coaching clients don't want to be sold. They want to feel found — by someone who understands them, who has a system that fits their situation, and who respects their intelligence enough to invite rather than push. That's the DM conversation. And it starts with content that creates enough trust to make them want to reach out in the first place.

📩 The 5-step DM sequence that turns coaching content into real client conversations — without being pushy or salesy.
Social media creates the trust. The DM extends it. Here's the sequence: STEP 1: Open with RECOGNITION — reference their specific comment or engagement. Never open with a pitch. STEP 2: Ask ONE genuine question about their situation. "What's your biggest social media challenge right now?" Open-ended. Focused on them. STEP 3: LISTEN and REFLECT — mirror back what you heard before giving any advice. Being genuinely heard is rare. Give them that first. STEP 4: Offer INSIGHT — not your service. Apply your expertise to their specific situation. No pitch. Just value. STEP 5: INVITE — don't close. "Would it be useful to explore this together?" respects their autonomy. Coaches respond to respect. Content creates the lead. The DM sequence converts it. Both need to be intentional. Both need to feel human. 💡 Save this — use it the next time a coach engages with your content.

The DM conversation that actually converts coaches into clients? It never starts with a pitch.
It starts with recognition. "I saw your comment on my post and it really resonated." Then one genuine question about their situation. Then listening — really listening — before offering anything. Then insight before any mention of a service. Then an invitation, not a close. The whole sequence is built on one thing: making the coach feel found by someone who genuinely understands their situation. That's what converts in a high-trust industry. Not scripts. Not pressure. Not clever closes. Just a genuine conversation that starts where the content left off. 🤝

DAY 19 · FRI What I got wrong when I first started studying the coaching market Story & Journey
Honest mistake narrative · 1,500–1,800 characters · High comment trigger
When I first started studying the coaching market, I got three things completely wrong. I'm sharing them here because I think the mistakes are more useful than the wins — especially for anyone building something new.
MISTAKE 1: I thought coaches struggled because they didn't post enough. So my first instinct was to help coaches post more frequently. More content. Higher volume. Better scheduling. Then I started actually reading the coaches who attracted clients consistently — and I realized that the most successful ones weren't posting the most. They were posting with the most clarity. One post that deeply resonates with the right person outperforms five posts that broadly appeal to everyone. Volume is not the answer. Clarity is. MISTAKE 2: I thought the coaching industry was like every other B2B service. I applied general digital marketing principles and got confused when the results didn't match the frameworks. Then I understood: coaching is a relationship industry first, and a marketing industry second. Before any coach will hire you, they need to trust you deeply — not just find you credible. That's a different kind of trust than most B2B services require. And it requires a different kind of content to earn it. MISTAKE 3: I thought I needed to know everything before I started sharing. I held back early in my learning because I thought "who am I to teach this when I'm still studying it?" Then I realized: the process of learning, shared honestly, is itself valuable. Coaches learn from experts. But they also learn — and deeply trust — from people who are visibly committed to understanding their world. I didn't need to know everything. I needed to care deeply. And share that caring honestly. Those three mistakes changed how I approach everything. And I'm still learning. Every post. Every conversation. Every day. — Rafael Saquido

Three assumptions we got wrong before we truly understood what coaches need from social media — and what we learned from each one.
At Raf Saquido SMM, we believe that honest reflection about what we've learned builds more trust than polished expertise alone. Here are three things we initially got wrong: Assumption 1: Coaches need more content. Reality: Coaches need clearer content. Volume never solved a positioning problem. Assumption 2: The coaching industry follows standard B2B marketing principles. Reality: Coaching is a relationship-first industry. Trust requirements are deeper, longer, and more personal than most B2B services. The content strategy that earns that trust looks fundamentally different. Assumption 3: We needed complete expertise before we could add value. Reality: The honest journey of learning — shared transparently — is itself deeply valuable to coaches who are on their own learning journey. These corrections didn't weaken our approach. They made it more precise, more human, and more effective. We share this because we believe our coaching clients deserve a social media partner who is genuinely committed to understanding their world — not just someone performing expertise from a distance.

🪞 What I got wrong when I first started studying the coaching market — and the 3 lessons that changed everything.
I'm going to be honest about the mistakes, because I think they're more useful than pretending I had it figured out from day one. ❌ WRONG: I thought coaches needed to post MORE. ✅ RIGHT: Coaches need to post with more CLARITY. One resonant post > five generic ones. ❌ WRONG: I treated coaching like any other B2B service. ✅ RIGHT: Coaching is a relationship-first industry. The trust required before a coach hires you is deeper, longer, and more personal than most services. ❌ WRONG: I thought I needed to know EVERYTHING before I could start sharing. ✅ RIGHT: The honest process of learning — shared visibly — is itself deeply trusted by coaches. You don't need to be a finished expert. You need to care genuinely. These three corrections made my approach more precise, more empathetic, and more effective. Mistakes aren't weaknesses in a journey. They're the most honest evidence that you're building something real. 💡

Three things I got completely wrong when I started studying the coaching market. Sharing them because mistakes are more honest than wins.
1. I thought coaches needed to post more. Nope — they need to post with more clarity. 2. I thought coaching followed standard marketing rules. Nope — it's relationship-first in a way most industries aren't. 3. I thought I needed to know everything before I could start. Nope — sharing the learning journey honestly is itself trusted. All three mistakes made me better at what I'm building. I think the willingness to say "I got that wrong" is one of the most trust-building things you can do — in any industry, at any stage. Still learning. Always will be. 🙏

DAY 21 · SUN How storytelling builds trust faster than credentials — the neuroscience Educational
Research-backed framework · 1,500–1,800 characters · Highest authority post of Week 3
Neuroscience explains why a well-told story builds more trust than a list of credentials — and why coaches who understand this principle consistently attract clients that fact-based content never reaches.
Here's what the research tells us: When we hear facts and data, two areas of our brain activate: Broca's area (language processing) and Wernicke's area (language comprehension). When we hear a story — a narrative with characters, conflict, and resolution — those same areas activate, plus five additional regions: the motor cortex, sensory cortex, olfactory cortex, auditory cortex, and the insula (where emotional empathy lives). A story doesn't just inform the brain. It simulates the experience — and activates the same emotional processing centers that real, lived experiences do. This is why: → Coaches remember the one story a speaker told at a conference — but forget the 47 slides of data → A coach buys from the person whose content made them feel understood — not the person with the longest resume → A vulnerability post about a mistake you made generates more DMs than a credentials post ever will In the coaching industry, this principle is amplified even further. Coaches buy trust. And stories are the fastest trust-building mechanism the human brain is wired to respond to. Here's how to use this in your content: 1. Replace every "I have 5 years experience" with "Here's what I learned in year 3 that changed everything." 2. Replace every credential with a consequence: not "I'm certified in X" but "Here's what that certification changed about how I serve clients." 3. Replace every claim with a scene: paint the specific moment — the conversation, the decision, the realization. Your story is not a credential. It's a neuroscience-backed trust accelerator. Use it more. Use it specifically. Use it honestly. — Rafael Saquido
📌 Save this — and replace one credential in your next post with a story. What happened when you did?

Why a well-told story builds more trust than credentials — the neuroscience behind coaching industry content that actually converts.
At Raf Saquido SMM, every content strategy we build for coaches is grounded in a simple neuroscience principle: Stories activate 7 brain regions. Facts and credentials activate 2. When a coach reads a well-told story — one with a specific situation, an honest challenge, and a meaningful resolution — their brain doesn't just process it as information. It simulates the experience. The same emotional processing centers that activate during real, lived experiences activate in response to a well-crafted narrative. This is why: → A vulnerability post about a mistake generates more DMs than a credentials post → A specific story about one client moment builds more trust than a service page → The coaches who attract clients through content consistently have the most human, honest stories — not the longest resumes In coaching — a service built on personal trust — this principle is the single most powerful tool in a content strategy. We build story-first content systems. Because the science says story is the fastest path to trust. And trust is the only path to clients.

🧠 The neuroscience reason why a story builds more trust than a credential — and why this changes everything about how coaches should think about their content.
Here's what the research actually shows: A fact or credential activates 2 areas of the brain. A well-told story activates 7 — including the emotional empathy center. This means stories don't just inform. They simulate the experience — creating the same emotional response as a real, lived event. In the coaching industry, where clients buy trust before they buy a service, this is the most powerful thing to know about content. Here's how to apply it immediately: ✅ Replace "I have X years of experience" with the story of what year 3 taught you ✅ Replace credentials with consequences — not what you're certified in, but what changed because of it ✅ Replace claims with scenes — paint the specific moment, conversation, or realization Your story is not just authentic. It's neurologically more persuasive than any resume or credential list you could publish. Use it more. Use it specifically. Use it honestly. 💡 Save this — then go rewrite one credential post as a story and notice the difference in response.
📩 DM me "STORY" and I'll show you how to turn one credential from your background into a trust-building story post.

Quick science insight · 350–450 characters
Mind-blowing (and useful) thing I learned about why stories build trust faster than credentials:
Facts and credentials activate 2 areas of the brain. A story activates 7 — including the emotional empathy center. Which means a well-told story literally simulates the experience for the person reading it. Their brain doesn't just process it as information. It lives it. This is why coaches buy from people whose stories resonated — not from people with the most impressive resumes. And this is why every piece of content I write for coaches leads with story over credentials. Not because credentials don't matter. But because stories get to the trust centers first. And trust is the only thing that actually converts in this industry. 🧠

Why a story builds more trust than credentials 🧠 The neuroscience (save this — it changes everything)

It simulates the experience — activating the same emotional centers as real, lived events. SLIDE 5: In coaching — a high-trust, relationship-first service — this is the most powerful content principle you can know. SLIDE 6: Apply it: Replace credentials with stories. Replace claims with scenes. Replace experience years with what year 3 taught you. SLIDE 7: "Your story is a neuroscience-backed trust accelerator. Use it more. Use it specifically. The System Behind Every Coaching Client I've Seen Attracted Through Social Media (And Why It's Not What Most Coaches Think)
Subject line: "The actual system coaches use to get clients from content — and why most people get it backwards"
Three weeks into this newsletter, I want to pull back the curtain on something I've been building toward since Edition 1. A complete picture of how coaching clients are actually attracted through social media — and why the approach most coaches take is the inverse of what works. This is the newsletter edition I've been looking forward to writing most. --- THE BACKWARDS APPROACH (AND WHY ALMOST EVERYONE STARTS HERE) Most coaches approach social media like this: 1. Start posting 2. Hope people notice 3. Occasionally pitch their offer 4. Wonder why it's not working 5. Post more 6. Burn out 7. Stop This approach isn't wrong because of laziness or lack of effort. It's wrong because the sequence is inverted. It tries to convert before it's built the trust required to convert. It reaches for the client before the client has any reason to reach back. It treats social media as an announcement channel — instead of as a trust-building system. And in the coaching industry, a service built entirely on personal trust, this inversion is the single most common reason that intelligent, experienced coaches feel invisible online. --- THE ACTUAL SEQUENCE (HOW IT REALLY WORKS) The coaches I've studied who consistently attract clients through social media all follow the same sequence — whether they're conscious of it or not. It looks like this: PHASE 1: POSITIONING (Weeks 1–2) Before a single post goes live, the question that determines everything else is answered: "Who am I specifically for, and what specific transformation do I help them create?" The more specific and honest the answer to this question, the more powerfully every subsequent post resonates. This is not "I help coaches grow their business." This is "I help coaches with 5+ years of experience who are tired of relying on referrals to build a content system that consistently attracts new clients — without paid ads." That specificity becomes the invisible thread that runs through every post — and the thing that makes a specific coach read your content and think: "This person is talking about me." PHASE 2: TRUST ARCHITECTURE (Weeks 3–6) With positioning established, every post published serves one purpose: adding one more layer of trust to a growing foundation. The 5-pillar rotation — educational, pain awareness, strategic insight, story, and offer — is not an arbitrary content calendar. It's a deliberate trust-building sequence. Educational posts build credibility. Pain posts build empathy. Strategic posts demonstrate systems thinking. Story posts build human connection. Offer posts convert warm trust into action. Each pillar does something different. Together, they create a complete trust architecture — where a coach can join your audience at any point in their journey and find the post that meets them exactly where they are. PHASE 3: CONVERSION ECOSYSTEM (Weeks 7–12) Once the trust foundation is established, the content doesn't change dramatically. But something shifts: the audience starts acting. DMs arrive. Comments turn into conversations. Referrals appear from people who've been quietly watching. The coaches who weren't ready in week 3 become ready in week 9. The content that builds this conversion ecosystem is not different from the trust-building content. It IS the trust-building content — accumulated over time, compounded into authority. This is the phase most coaches never reach. Because they stopped posting in Phase 2 before the trust account reached its conversion threshold. --- WHY WEEK 3 IS THE HARDEST There's a consistent pattern I've noticed in coaching businesses and in new freelancers starting their content journey: Week 3 is the wall. Week 1 has the energy of beginning. Week 2 has the momentum of progress. Week 3 has... the silence before the compound effect. The algorithm hasn't fully indexed the consistent presence yet. The audience hasn't reached the threshold of trust that produces DMs yet. The content is still building — and nothing visible has happened yet. This is where most coaches stop. And this is the precise moment that, if you can push through it, marks the beginning of the compound effect. Because the coaches who make it to week 4, 5, and 6 don't just accumulate more posts. They accumulate more trust. And trust, unlike follower counts, compounds. --- THE SYSTEM IN THREE SENTENCES Position yourself specifically — for one person, facing one specific challenge. Publish consistently — rotating through all five pillars, every week, without exception. Measure trust — not reach. DMs, referrals, comments that become conversations. The results that matter are almost always the ones you can't see in your analytics dashboard. That's the complete system. It's not complicated. But it requires patience, specificity, and the willingness to trust a process before you can see its results. --- WHAT'S COMING IN EDITION 4 Next week — in the final newsletter edition of this first month — I'll share the specific actions that turn a trust-built audience into a paying client. Not sales tactics. Not closing techniques. The specific content moves, DM sequences, and offer structures that convert a warm, trusting audience into client relationships. That's the final piece of the system. And I'll share all of it — including the exact steps I'll be using as I take on my first coaching clients. Until then — keep publishing. Keep building. Week 3 is the hardest. Week 4 is where it starts to pay. — Rafael Saquido Social Media Marketing for Coaches & Consultants linkedin.com/in/rafsaquido | rafsaquido.smm@gmail.com P.S.
